Ryan Born

Ryan Born is the Founder & CEO at HAAWK, Inc., a media software and services company specializing in managing and monetizing the copyrights of independent music, film, television, and video catalogs. The company provides copyright monitoring and monetization tools to assist creators in maximizing earnings on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other UGC platforms. The company, founded in 2017, was ranked #16 fastest growing media company on the Inc 5000 in 2024.

Prior to founding HAAWK, Inc., Born founded AdRev/AudioMicro Inc., a VC backed rights management and content licensing network, which was acquired by private equity in 2014-15. Additionally, he previously served as VP of Finance at WireImage during the company’s sale to Getty Images in 2007, as well as an audit and tax associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2001 to 2004.

Born graduated Beta Gamma Sigma with an undergraduate degree in Accounting/Marketing & Art history and a Studio Art minor from Emory University. He possesses a Masters of Accounting Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds a CPA license with the State Board of Accountancy of his home state, Tennessee.
